Where Every Day Brings a New Story The first quarter of the academic year was packed with memorable experiences, inspiring leadership, joyful celebrations, and meaningfullearning. Here's a look at some of our biggest highlights.
Leadership isn't about wearing a badge—it's about making a
difference.
On 24th April 2026, Adhira International School
proudly welcomed its newly elected Student
Council during the Investiture Ceremony. The
event was graced by our respected Chairman,
Mr. Navnath Dhawale; Director, Mrs. Suman
Dhawale; and Principal Director, Mrs. Uma
Bagde, who conferred badges upon our young
leaders.
As the council members took their oath, they
pledged to lead with integrity, responsibility,
and compassion. The ceremony marked not
just the beginning of leadership roles but also
the start of a journey built on service and
commitment.
Did You Know?
The word Investiture means the formal ceremony of conferring authority, responsibility, and leadership upon an individual.
Student Council Elections
Every great leader starts as a responsible citizen.
Our Student Council Elections gave students an opportunity to experience the
democratic process firsthand. From campaigning with confidence to casting
votes responsibly, students demonstrated maturity, fairness, and respect
throughout the election process.
The elections encouraged leadership, teamwork, communication, and decisionmaking—skills that
will benefit our students throughout their lives.
This year's Earth Day reminded us that protecting our planet begins with small, meaningful actions. Students enthusiastically participated in tree plantation drives, poster-making competitions, awareness campaigns, eco-friendly classroom activities, and discussions on sustainable living. Together, they shared one important message:"Every Day is Earth Day. "
The best lessons are often learned outside the classroom. Educational field trips transformed curiosity into discovery as students explored new places, observed realworld concepts, and connected classroom learning with everyday life. Every journey became an opportunity to ask questions, collaborate, and create lasting memories.
Learning extends beyond academics, and our newly launched clubs are a testament to that belief.Students enthusiastically joined clubs that match their interests—from Performing Arts and Innovation & Technology to Wellness,Leadership,Communication, and Creative Arts. These clubs will provide opportunities to explore talents, develop new skills, and build confidence throughout the year.
With calm minds and joyful hearts, students and teachers celebrated International Yoga Day through both indoor and outdoor yoga sessions. The event encouraged mindfulness, physical fitness, emotional well-being, and healthy habits—reminding us that true success begins with a balanced body and mind.
Determination, creativity, teamwork, and sportsmanship took centre stage during our Inter-House Competitions. Whether on the stage, in the classroom, or on the sports field, every participant demonstrated courage, resilience, and the true spirit of healthy competition. Because at Adhira, participation is just as valuable as victory.
Our youngest Adhirians had a colourful and joyful start to the year with exciting theme-based celebrations that made learning fun and memorable.
Dressed in vibrant shades of green, our little learners explored the beauty of nature through storytelling, leaf printing, music, crafts, and interactive activities. The celebration encouraged children to appreciate plants, trees, and the environment while developing colour recognition in a playful way.
The Pre-Primary section came alive in brilliant shades of red as children celebrated Red Colour Day with great enthusiasm. 🍎 Show & Tell featured favourite red objects. 🎨 Creative Craft Time included finger painting, apple stamping, and paper tearing activities. 🎈 Fun Learning Games introduced children to everyday objects that are red while strengthening vocabulary and observation skills
The school celebrated Father's Day with heartfelt performances, handmade cards, creative activities, and touching messages that honoured the unwavering love and support of fathers.
